While working from home went from a rarity to a necessity, your data plan may not have been the most flexible to be more mobile. Yesterday, Verizon announced 4 new mobile hotspot plans to better help with that.
So now have the Essential, Plus, Pro, & Premium plans to choose from w/ pricing going from $20 monthly for 15GB to $80 monthly for 150GB of data. All offering that blazing 5G speeds if you’re within their limited network. Here’s how the 4 plans breakdown below:
Essential: $20/mo for Verizon customers
- 15GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
- 720p HD streaming when on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE
Plus: $40/mo for Verizon customers
- 5G Ultra Wideband access
- 50GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
- 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE
Pro: $60/mo for Verizon customers with a smartphone on an eligible Unlimited plan or $90 as a standalone plan
- 5G Ultra Wideband access
- 100GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
- 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE
Premium: $80/mo for Verizon customers with a smartphone on an eligible Unlimited plan or $110 as a standalone plan
- 5G Ultra Wideband access
- 150GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
- 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE
Interestingly enough, those of you on Verizon’s entry-level Unlimited plan don’t have access to mobile hotspot access at all which is a bit strange. If you’re looking to partake in these new plans, check out their mobile hotspot devices.
