While working from home went from a rarity to a necessity, your data plan may not have been the most flexible to be more mobile.  Yesterday, Verizon announced 4 new mobile hotspot plans to better help with that.

So now have the Essential, Plus, Pro, & Premium plans to choose from w/ pricing going from $20 monthly for 15GB to $80 monthly for 150GB of data.  All offering that blazing 5G speeds if you’re within their limited network.  Here’s how the 4 plans breakdown below:

Essential: $20/mo for Verizon customers

    • 15GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
    • 720p HD streaming when on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE

Plus: $40/mo for Verizon customers

    • 5G Ultra Wideband access
    • 50GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
    • 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE

Pro: $60/mo for Verizon customers with a smartphone on an eligible Unlimited plan or $90 as a standalone plan

    • 5G Ultra Wideband access
    • 100GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
    • 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE

Premium: $80/mo for Verizon customers with a smartphone on an eligible Unlimited plan or $110 as a standalone plan

    • 5G Ultra Wideband access
    • 150GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
    • 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE

Interestingly enough, those of you on Verizon’s entry-level Unlimited plan don’t have access to mobile hotspot access at all which is a bit strange.   If you’re looking to partake in these new plans, check out their mobile hotspot devices
