Earlier today, Fitbit made their previously-leaked Charge 5 official.  This is poised to be their most advanced health/fitness tracker to help you stay on top of your fitness, stress, heart health, & well-being.  While this isn’t the WearOS-powered Fitbit many of you have been waiting for, this is still a great addition to their lineup.

As far as what does the Charge 5 have to offer, a lot actually.  You got an always-on AMOLED display that’s 2x brighter outdoors than previous models, GPS, 24/7 heartrate monitor, SpO2 monitoring, skin temperature tracking, sleep tracking, an ECG app, EDA scanning, stress management, workout zones, workout intensity maps, phone calls/notifications w/ Quick Replies, 6 months of Fitbit’s Premium service for free, VO2 Max estimate, Fitbit Pay, and up to 7-day battery life.

One of the biggest new features coming is their Daily Readiness Score that lives within the Fitbit app & will be accessed via their Premium subscription.  This will suggest different levels of exercise based on your recent activity, sleep, & heart rate.  All to make sure you’re recovering properly.  If your score is higher, you will be recommended more intense workouts but if lower, you get suggestions for a lighter workout.

And for those of you wondering, the feature will make its way down to likes of the Sense, Verse 2 + 3, Luxe, & Inspire 2.  You can pre-order the Charge 5 today and is set to ship sometime in late September.  It will offer a $180 price tag to it as well.

For those of you curious to know what else Fitbit has in the works, they break some if it down in the video below.
