Yesterday, Sony announced 2 new additions to their budget audio products w/ the WF-C500 earbuds & noise-cancelling WH-XB910N headphones.  We’ll start w/ the earbuds then work out way to the headphones.

So the C500 buds don’t have the Extra Bass sound profile the many other budget earbuds from Sony offer but they do make up for it in other ways.  You got IPX4 dust/water-resistance, 10 hours of battery life, app support w/ EQ options, Google’s FastPair support, 360 Reality Audio support, as well as DSEE that restores high-frequency sounds lost in compression – all w/ a pair of 5.8mm drivers + omni-directional mics.  These retail for only $100 and will be available on October 8th.

And moving on to the XB910N headphones, you got a lot of goodies here as well – maybe more than the earbuds IMO.  You got their Extra Bass sound profile for that extra punch, dual digital noise-cancelling w/ ambient mode, Google’s FastPair support, multi-point Bluetooth connection for up to 2 devices, and up to 30-hour battery life w/ Quick Charging that will give you 4 & a half hours of juice in a 10 minute charge – all on 25mm drivers + dual mics for calls.  These will retail for $250 and will be available on October 8th as well.

So which one of these will you be picking up?
