Earlier today, Anker revealed their take on audio frames w/ their new Soundcore Frames.  These are similar to the Bose Sound Frames but w/ a lower price point at $200.

These are glasses w/ the slightly chunky temples (or arms) carrying the 2 speakers + battery.  The temples also allow for gesture controls to play/pause & skip songs.  The frames themselves can be swapped out up to 10 different designs.  The frames are IPX4 water-resistant that will offer blue-light filtering and offer prescription lens options as well.  The battery life will get you up to 5.5 hours of continuous playback as well.

We’ve tried them on a few weeks back at an Anker event in NYC and sound pretty good.  Of course at max volume, it can get loud to where others can hear your music or phone conversation so keep that in mind.

They’ll begin shipping in November via Anker’s site, Amazon,Best Buy, & more retailers.  You can also do a virtual try-on right now over on Soundcore’s site or app via Android & iOS.
