So along w/ the new Pixel 6 line we’re gonna see next week, we’ll also see a new-and-improved Pixel Stand to go along w/ it as well. So it will be faster, a bit bulkier, & more eco-friendly.
The new Pixel Stand leak is courtesy of This Is Tech Today over on Twitter. This will be a new 13.5oz wireless charging stand that offers dual coils w/ wearable support, speeds up to 23W for Pixels + up to 15W for other smartphones, active cooling fan inside that can be used in automatic/manual mode, comprised of 54% of post-consumer recycled materials, and new software features for when your Pixel is docked. It will arrive in 2 color options of Rock Candy & Fog w/ a $79 price tag attached to it.
It looks a bit meh by itself but w/ a phone behind it, the 2nd-gen Pixel Stand looks good. The faster charging rate is welcomed as it makes the new Pixel & Pixel Stand a lot more competitive.
