Today, marks 10-years of Google Play which handling all things Android from apps, movies, books, games, & more. Coming from the ashes of the Android Market, Google Play has gone on to serve more than 2.5 billion people in over 190 countries w/ more than 2 million developers building within it.
So we now have an updated icon + color layout to better match the rest of the Google logos of Search, Assistant, Photos, Gmail, & more. Essentially, they changed how the colors meet and went a bit darker in its color choices.
To go along w/ the celebration, Google Play is hosting a 10X Play Point shopping event which gives you 10X points for Google Play purchase. When I set mines up, it’s only good for a day on our end but not sure if you results may vary. So if you haven’t gone to your Google Play tab today, please do and add the 10X boost to your acct.
