If you haven’t taken notice, GameSir, a mobile accessory company, has been killing it with the drops. They recently dropped a newer version of their G8 mobile controller. Introducing the GameSir G8+, the company’s MFi USB-C mobile game controller for iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
The G8+ offers an ultra-wide stretch ranging from 125 to 215mm, or 4.9 to 8.4 inches, for larger devices like the iPad mini. It also provides console-grade ergonomics with laser-textured grips, remappable back buttons, Hall Effect sticks (which should reduce stick drift and last up to 5 million cycles), interchangeable thumbsticks, tactile feedback, a mechanical D-Pad, and A, B, X, & Y buttons (which offer a lifespan of up to 2 million clicks).

The USB-C port supports plug and play, charges your device while playing, and is also MFi-certified or compatible with Apple devices. The G8+ controller is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and weighs 1.38 lbs. Gamers can customize their experience with the GameSir app, which handles features such as button customization, vibration, and software updates.
The GameSir G8+ appears similar to most mobile gaming controllers, but it offers console-level upgrades along with high-level features. The G8+ is now available for purchase via Amazon in the US or GameSir for $80 and is coming soon to Amazon UK.
