Google announced a new feature coming to Gemini alongside the launch of Samsung’s top-tier flagship phone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as well as its Pixel 10 phones, called Gemini Task Automation. The feature allows you to use Google’s AI to order food delivery and ridesharing entirely for you—well, mostly anyway.

It became available for the S26 Ultra earlier this week and is now arriving on the Pixel 10 series as part of its March Pixel Drop update. Currently, the feature only works with select apps, such as DoorDash, GrubHub, Starbucks, Uber, and Uber Eats. You can ask Gemini to order your favorite drink at Starbucks or order an Uber to the airport, and it does so in the background. You can also stop and take over a task if desired.

Keep in mind that the feature is still in beta and has daily limits based on whether you’re using the free or one of the paid versions of Gemini. Free users can get up to five requests daily; Plus users get 12; paid Pro users get 20; and the paid Ultra tier gets up to 120 daily requests. Also, it’s currently only available for the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL.
