In a surprise move, despite being discontinued, Samsung announced its elusive Galaxy Z TriFold is going back on sale this Friday, April 10, at 9 AM ET. The $2,900 10-inch folding phone from Samsung will be available both online and in one of the seven Samsung Experience stores here in the US.

To recap what it offers, the TriFold is equipped with a 6.5-inch 1080p display, which opens up to a 10-inch 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, an IP48-rated body, and a 5,600 mAh battery. It also has a rear triple-camera system with a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP 3x telephoto with dual 10MP selfie cameras.

The Samsung retail locations are at the Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos, CA; the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN; the Queens Center in Elmhurst, NY; the Roosevelt Field in Garden City, NY; the Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA; the Galleria in Houston, TX; and the Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, TX.

Previous sales sell out quickly and have been equivalent to buying a pair of Jordans via online lottery, so best of luck to anyone attempting to grab one during this restock.
