After the false Best Buy pre-order leak last month, we finally got the official pre-order date for the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI. It’s hard to believe that GTA V came out 13 years ago, when I was only a few years into my marriage and before my wife and I had kids.
Earlier this morning, Rockstar Games dropped a teaser trailer showing off the official game cover art and revealed the pre-order dates. In one week, on June 25, pre-orders for GTA VI go live. We know it will arrive for the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles, but I’m doubtful it will make its way to the Switch 2, though.
The company’s previous GTA VI release date of November 19th appears to be intact. It will arrive on digital storefronts and select retailers, such as Amazon, Best Buy, Target, or Walmart. However, there’s no word on the official pricing, as it may be revealed sometime next week.
