Earlier this afternoon, Apple sent out invites for the September iPhone event, which is happening on September 9th at 1PM ET. This year’s tagline for the iPhone 18 event is ‘Surprise and shine.’ This will be the first Apple event with newly appointed CEO John Ternus at the helm.

Reportedly, this year Apple will be moving differently. This fall iPhone event will be about its Pro and premium iPhones, including the company’s first foldable. While the base model iPhone 18 is set to arrive next spring alongside the 2nd-gen iPhone Air and iPhone 18e.

The iPhone 18 Pro line is rumored to offer Dark Cherry, Black, Silver, and Light Blue color options with a variable aperture main camera, a smaller Dynamic Island, a new processor, and the company’s C2 cellular modem. All while retaining the same 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screen sizes, but with a potential higher price tag of maybe $100 or so.

The foldable iPhone or the iPhone Ultra will reportedly mirror Samsung’s wide Galaxy Z Fold 8 with a 5.3- or 5.5-inch outer screen that opens to a 7.6- or 7.8-inch inner screen with a virtually crease-free display. Apple’s foldable is said to also include a titanium frame, dual rear cameras, and Touch ID integrated into the power button. Pricing is rumored to start at $2,000 and go up to $2,500 or higher.

We’re also expecting the AirPods 5, and the Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 with new chips and health-focused features.
