However, pre-orders for the company’s flagship iPhone 18 Pro are happening this weekend—albeit for $100 more than last year’s model. The 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,200, while the 6.9-inch iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,300. The base storage for both Pro phones remains at 256GB.
Going through your carrier or switching carriers offers several promos and deals, including trade-in discounts to get an 18 Pro for free. AT&T has a deal for new and existing customers that gets you $1,200 off the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max when you trade in an eligible iPhone in any condition. You can also sign up for AT&T Next Up Anytime, which lets you grab a new iPhone every year. Lastly, those who switch over to AT&T can get up to $800 to pay off their current device.
For new and existing T-Mobile customers, you can get an iPhone 18 Pro for free (or $1,200 off) when you trade in an eligible device in any condition or add a line to the carrier’s Experience Beyond 2.0, Experience Beyond, or Go5G Next plans. Those on Experience More 2.0, Experience More, or Go5G Plus plans can get up to $930 off an iPhone 18 Pro phone. And those on Essentials 2.0 or add a line to Essentials, Go5G, and Magenta plans can get $730 off. Lastly, Essentials and Essentials 2.0 users can save $300 off when you trade in an eligible device.
New Verizon customers can get the 18 Pro for $80 monthly ($50 device payment & $30 unlimited payment plan) on its Simplicity Pro plan. After 33% of the device is paid off, you can swap out for a new one every year. New or existing myPlan users can get up to $1,200 off with an eligible trade-in device. Current myPlan customers can get up to $1,020 off when you upgrade with an eligible trade-in from select devices that have been active on an account for a minimum of 60 days. Lastly, Verizon Business customers can get an iPhone 18 Pro for free or $1,200 off the iPhone 18 Pro Max. You simply need to trade in and enroll in a qualifying My Biz Plan, and you can additionally get an extra $360 credit when you switch to a select VZ Business Plan.
