Earlier on Friday, a leak about some important details on the upcoming Halo Infinite dropped & then later confirmed by Microsoft. The details confirmed one thing and possible shocked everyone the many w/ the other thing.
So Halo Infinite will run at 120fps on the Xbox Series X and its multiplayer mode will be free-to-play. The last part is the most interesting as Microsoft quietly killed off their 12-month Xbox Live subscriptions, leaving their Xbox Game Pass the only paid way to game on their console as well as PCs. While the 120fps part is something the hard-core gamers questioned as there was no mention it during their gameplay reveal last week.
Unfortunately, I expect 343 Industries to add a Battle Royale option for multiplayer. I prefer the other modes but that’s just me speaking. So until the holiday season arrives, the debate between the PS5 & the Xbox Series X will continue to rage on.
