The folks over at The Verge got tipped off on some new info on what then folks over at Fitbit are working on. One of them is what they called a fitness superwatch called the Fitbit Surge. Priced at $249, the Surge will be your all-in-one tracker but not to be confused w/ being a smart watch like Android Wear or the Apple Watch though. They’re staying in their lane of fitness tracking.
The Surge will have a built-in GPS, PurePulse accurate heart-rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and can view you calls/text + control your music as well. You still have joys of sleep tracking along w/ any other activity tracking. You also have a vibrating alarm/alert built-in as well.
Based on reports from Gizmodo, the Surge will be one of their new products coming in the very near future. So if you ever wanted your Fitbit to do just a bit more, looks like your prayers will be answered soon enough.
