We’ve been reporting on Google’s screen-less wearable spotted on Steph Curry, and now there’s a new report, including its official name, price, colors, and potential launch window. Thanks to the folks over at 9to5Google, they’ve reported that its official name will be the Fitbit Air.

As with any Fitbit device, you’ll need its premium tier to access all of its software and now AI features, as the same would apply to the Air. Coincidentally, Fitbit already has a product with a similar name, called the Aria Air, and it’s a scale. However, the report suggests that the current version of Fitbit’s Public Preview will become Google Health Coach.

Additional reporting from Droid-Life includes three potential color options of Obsidian, Lavender, and Berry, with a white charging cable. The report also adds several color options for band options as well, including a performance loop band and active band (both in obsidian, fog, lavender, and berry colors); an elevated softflex band (in obsidian, moonstone, and porcelain colors); and a metal mesh band (in silver and warm gold colors).

Droid-Life also suggests the price point could be around $100 with the Fitbit Air going on sale on May 16. This could be a nice, affordable option to pull you into the Google and Fitbit ecosystem, if the numbers are what’s suggested.
