Have you ever wanted to use other AI agents within your Google Home setup? Well, your wish has just been granted. Today, Google announced they’ll begin rolling out early access to MCP (or Model Context Protocol) integration for its Google Home ecosystem.
The integration opens up Google Home to additional AI agents, including Claude, Google Antigravity, Hermes, or Open Claw, which will work with all of the devices and event history. This support will allow you to use your natural language to monitor activity, review camera summaries across multiple rooms, control devices, and even build custom smart home dashboards.
Google Home Premium Advanced users will get early access within the coming weeks. No word yet on whether or not, you’ll need to be a top-tier user to utilize the feature when made available.
