Earlier we talked about the iPad Pro getting delayed until the fall. Now we’re talking about an upcoming Apple product that will arrive on time. The long-rumored Retina MacBook Air. According to the folks over at the Wall Street Journal, mass production for it have already began.
The Retina Air is coming sooner rather than later.
The new Retina Air will offer an entirely new design that would get rid of the MagSafe connector, SD card slot, and introduce the new reversible USB 3.0 type-C port. Also, a thinner + lighter body w/ speakers moved to above the keyboard, and of course a new high-resolution display (exact numbers unknown).
This doesn’t necessarily indicate whether or not we will see it get unveiled at next week’s Apple Watch event but we don’t have much time to wait.
