Nexus 6
Google’s wireless network has been the talk of the tech town over the last few days as its existence was confirmed earlier in the week.  Now there’s even more info about it hitting the net.

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal,  the network will only work w/ their latest flagship device: the Nexus 6.  Before you all get start cussing up a storm, remember Google’s MVNO was intended to be on a smaller scale.  No intentions of taking on the big boys like AT&T or Verizon but hopes to inspire them to adopt some of their features.  Being available on the latest Nexus would do just that .

Google’s network is said to be able to switch off between a cellular connection and Wi-Fi networks.  It is said to be built on top of Sprint + T-Mobile’s network.   WSJ says it is said to launch as early as later this month instead of at I/O.  I’m not sure if it will launch on a Nexus 6 only or just start off as one.   Sound off on your thought about it.
