For the 3rd installment of Call Of Duty’s Black Ops franchise, we go into the future. The year 2065 to be exact. The trailer above called ‘Ember’ details namkind’s greatest mistake to not being able to control the tech it has created.
Not sure if we’re going into Skynet territory or not. This does highlight all of humanity’s technological achievements throughout the years. Like in 2025 we got ‘modified athletes’, 2041 we got the 1st networked brain-to-brain connection, 2051 DNA enhancements & organ replacements for the rich, and 2055 retinal implants for all. This led to global chaos w/ riots against scientists who’re playing God. We also see a familiar-looking whistleblower talking about the government creating super soldiers out of everyday humans as well.
The big reveal for the official trailer kicks off on Sunday. Thus far, the story sounds quite awesome. What do you guys think about it?
