While speaking at an NYC event on April 1st, Sony CEO may have let some new information about the up-and-coming iPhone 5. According to the head of Sony, Apple is looking to switch suppliers for the camera lens to their best-selling iPhone and will be using Sony for the i5. But their facility where the lens in made was damaged during the disaster in Japan. It is rumored that Sony will supply Apple with an 8MP Exmor R lens, that’s used in the SonyEricsson Arc and XPERIA Neo. Future i5 buyers can keep their fingers crossed and hope for a good 8MP lens on the new iPhone.
