With Instagram touting over 200 million users, what’s new the company acquired by Facebook last year? Apparently messaging is on the horizon (maybe not tomorrow but on the way in the very near future) according to GigaOM. With Snapchat gaining momentum and turning down billion offers, the photo/video clip sharing service may want to compete. With their already huge community, it would actually make sense.
The messages is rumored to be private, only seen by the users involved. TechCrunch sources also stated that the messages could actually disappear after after a while like Snapchat does.
