Remember when Phil Schiller said, ” Apple can’t innovate anymore my ass”, during the unveiling of the new Mac Pro? Apparently in 2014, they mean to continue showing you what they can do. According to reliable KGI analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, consumers can expect major products updates next year.
- There is word of a 12inch Retina MacBook coming into existence. Sitting in-between the 11.6inch & 13inch Airs and expected to be thinner + lighter than the Airs. A lovely high-resolution Retina display, powered by an Intel CPU (preferably Haswell) and w/ a lower price point than the current Apple laptops. Expected to launch sometime during the 2nd or 3rd quarter.
- The iMac: the lovely all-in-one machine. Apple is said to launch a lower-priced iMac to help compete w/ the Windows desktops. No exact word as how much cheaper it will be as the current model starts at $1299.99. This is also said to launch within the 2nd or 3rd quarter.
- There is a word on another iPad on the way. Sporting an even higher resolution display than the current model. About 30%-40% higher w/ even more ppi while retaining the same 9.7inch size. Although there was word for a bigger-sized tablet on the way, the size looks to stay the same.
Apple is still releasing great products but we can expect Tim Cook to uphold his promise of 2014 being a major product year for the company. What do you guys think? Which 2014 product are you interested in thus far?
