There has been many questions in regards to HTC’s latest two devices the Touch Diamond and the Touch Pro. Question such as what are they? What’s the difference? Who is getting them? When will they be released? Well hold your breathe just a bit longer because these two devices won’t be released until the end of 3rd quarter which is around September sometime. (3rd quarter refers to the calender year broken up into 1/4 of the 12 months. Just a little math for you.) As far as who will be getting them, that’s another issue. As of right now the rumor mill says the first out the gate is Sprint with a late September early October release date. Verizon is to follow approximately a month later. The device that these two will be releasing is the Touch Diamond (qwerty keyboard not included.) The rumor mill also has AT&T as the carrier to carry the Touch Pro (with the qwerty). In my opinion that is smart of AT&T; because why carry the Diamond when you already have the Iphone which also does not include a qwerty keyboard. (Qwerty meaning a keyboard that actually spells out qwerty in the first line of keys. Don’t believe me look at any computer keyboard and you will see.) As far as the difference between the two it as simple as a qwerty keyboard with the ability to expand your memory (Touch Pro) and a non qwerty (all touch screen) with a cool (hehehe) back cover with an onboard 4gb memory (Touch Diamond). There will be more comparisons to follow. This is all for now. Oh and you may ask what about Tmobile? You may want to consider unlocking one of the afore mentioned carriers’ phones or wait until the HTC Dream hits the market. The Dream is codename and has also been called the Gphone or Google phone. It is the first open alliance handset to be released with 3G. This phone will be looking to shut down all the Iphone chit chat but first they need to decide on a release date. They are looking to bring this device to the market sometime during the 4th quarter. If all goes well this will be all Tmobile customers Dream come true.
