BlackBerry has released BlackBerry Media Sync 3.0 to the masses. This newest version still has iTunes and Windows Media Player support. Below are a list of its newest features:

- New overall product layout
- Fewer pop-ups
- Improved memory usage via memory meter
- Ability to view songs in playlists in side-pane
- Two-Way Photo Sync Support
- Synchronize and optimize photos from a computer to a BlackBerry smartphone
- Alerts BlackBerry smartphone user when new photos are available to import from BlackBerry smartphone to a designated folder in My Pictures when connected to a computer
- Video camera featuring Normal mode (320 x 240) or MMS mode (176 x 144)
- Backup of BlackBerry smartphone pictures
- Support for multiple picture formats
- Preview full-size pictures
