Tmonews got the word that all G2 owners may receive a little treat starting today.   After being slighted by being their first 4G Android device, it was missing the Wi-Fi Calling app that should have came preloaded.   T-Mobile is looking to rectify that by pushing out an update with the app via OTA starting today and roll out until November 8th.   And coming along with the update is the Wi-Fi tethering (mobile hotspot feature) that was a stock feature on Android 2.2 devices but missing nonetheless.   T-Mobile is definitely pulling out some stops this holiday season but I’m sure the other carriers have some tricks up their sleeves as well.
