Ever since Skype acquired Qik, they have been making more enjoyable changes/enhancements to the popular video-calling app and this bit of news is no different.   Qik’s Video Connect feature now allows iOS and Android devices to play nice and video chat with each other like Tango does.   All devices running Android 2.1 or higher along with any iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) with a camera can video converse over Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G networks.   Along with the Qik Video Connect, users can also access video mail and video sharing services.  Bad news is that on the Android side only Galaxy S devices has app support of the front-facing camera, everyone else will have to use the rear-facing one for now.

You can download the Qik app here for Android or iOS
