Bad news for AT&T subscribers who plan on upgrading anytime soon. Starting today, the carrier’s upgrade fees will go from $18 to $36 when you become eligible for to get a new device. Definitely sucks as the carrier will make tons of money off of their subscribers when the new iPhone is released. No one wants to pay more $$$ for the same type of service, especially just to upgrade to a new device. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
