The folks over at TechCrunch were tipped off about the possibility of Google working on their own virtual assistant to go head-to-head against Siri.   Google’s Assistant is slated to offer more capabilities that Apple’s current status of Siri.   Google is slated to compel a “do engine” that can be used to access your other apps as your information will come form Google’s search engine and Google +.   Their goal is to build their mobile, voice-activated Assistant is targeted to do more real-life goals rather than regular search results.   Google’s Assistant is slated to launch sometime during the last quarter of this year.   This would definitely give Android a better edge against the other OS with an Assistant that does more.
