Earlier today, Google unveiled their answer to iTunes gift cards with Google Play cards. Android users can now add pre-paid dollars to their account to make buying new music, books, apps, magazines, books, & TV shows a lot easier. The Play cards will arrive in denominations of $10, $25, & $50 but will not apply to subscription services, hardware, or accessories. These Android gift cards will be available in various retailers like GameStop, Radio Shack, Target, and Walmart (online) as some locations may already have them in stock. Android is definitely leveling the playing field with this one.
