Earlier today, Google updated its Gmail app for Android to add a few more handy treats. You can get even more productive using the app. Android 4.1 users can now enjoy the ability to Archive, Reply, and Delete directly from the notification shade. No need to even open the app anymore. The update also allows for faster searches online & offline for Android 4.0 users along with bug fixes and performance improvements. Gmail for Android gets a one-up on the iOS app with this one that more than likely won’t be replicated.
