Announced earlier this year during CES, Sony’s high-end + waterproof Xperia Z has found an exclusive US carrier to call home. Sony’s latest flagship Android device touts a 5inch 1080p HD display w/ 443ppi, powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, a 13MP Exmor rear-facing camera, and a protected body that is scratch + waterproof. T-Mobile just announced plans to offer the device sometime this summer with the timeframe of ‘in coming weeks’. The Xperia Z will arrive in your choice of Black or Purple colors for T-Mo. No official word on Simple Choice pricing from the carrier but more will get revealed as the launch date gets closer.

T-Mo just released word on official availability for the Xperia Z. Available now (7/10) for $99 down in Sony Stores, on 7/17 on T-Mobile’s website, and 7/18 in stores.
