Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro
Lenovo helped create a new category of laptops w/ the Yoga Pro and is back w/ the anticipated sequel.  The Yoga 2 Pro still changes into 4 different modes: from laptop to stand to tent to tablet.  Offering a quality IPS HD touchscreen display, backlit keyboard, super-fast SSD for storage, voice/motion control, and 9-hour battery life.  
MacBook Air 13inch
The MacBook Air is probably single-handily response for the death of netbooks and its a reason is has become the standard of mobile computing.  The 2013 edition continues to do the same w/ faster Intel CPUs, faster Wi-Fi, faster SSD storage, and a 12-hour battery life.  Also new to the Airs are FaceTime HD camera, dual-mics, & USB 3.0 ports.  A must-have to cover the needs of many.

Sony VAIO Pro 13
Sony hasn’t been known for their computers in a while as they are looking to change that within the past year or so.  The VAIO Pro 13 is a prime example of such a feat.  You can consider this a beautifully-crafted Windows device Apple could’ve made.  It is super-light, thin but still powerful as it offers a full1080p HD display, fast SSD for storage, HDMI out, & USB 3.0.  Any Windows 8 power users will enjoy this beauty & beast of a machine.

MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display

Apple’s creme de la creme of mobile powerhouses is their Retina MacBooks.  Super-res display: check, not a heavy brick on your lap: check, fast SSD on-board: check, and ideal for photography/video-editing/music production: check.  The 15inch is the more ideal choice but for those looking to not spend so much, the 13inch just got more powerful.
