Definitely one of the more awesome features on the Galaxy S5 is the Download Booster. This allows you to simultaneously use your 4G LTE network + Wi-Fi to download bigger files (over 30MB) faster than normal. The good news is that if you are a T-Mobile or US Cellular customer, you will have access to it on your GS5. The bad news is that if you are a AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon customer; no go for you.
With T-Mobile promoting the unlimited use of their data network, the other carriers all have tiered data plans that don’t want people to use this to take a hit on their network. While Sprint is promoting unlimited data, their Spark network isn’t launched everywhere yet. Maybe they will allow this feature to arrive at a later date. But don’t get your hopes up.
