ok google chromebook voice search
Even though Chromebooks are doing exponentially well within the education markets globally, that doesn’t mean Google is done in continuing to make it better + better.   Late last week, Google employee François Beaufort revealed that their voice search prompt, “OK, Google” will be arriving to all things Chrome OS.  It is already widely used on all of the latest Android smartphones as it is only right it arrives to its distant cousin.

The voice search will be used just as on the smartphones where you can do hands-free web searches, check the weather + itineraries, and much more.   Voice search will always be on + listening just as long as the screen is on and is unlocked.  The feature is actually live on the Chrome OS developer channel for those of you brave enough to try it out.  It will become available to the rest of the Chromebooks when it they work out all of the kinks.
