apple watch 1st
While the release of Apple’s first leap into smartwatches draws near, there is a report out there that suggests it may not be as dope as many would have hoped.   Originally the Apple Watch was going to be health-related in regards to its focus but apparently that has changed.

Time + current technology is why Apple came up short.

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, the watch was supposed to be able to monitor heart rate, blood pressure,& stress levels.  But the sensors they were testing it won’t didn’t live up to the challenge.  Sensors like the one aforementioned isn’t quite the exact science just yet.  Factors like hairy arms, dry skin, and how tight/loose the band is worn can mess w/ the results.

Apple has been hard at work for the past 4 years trying to nail it as they’ve been utilizing resources from the company.  In order to meet their desired launch window, some of those features had to go.  Apple envisioned their Watch to be more of a health tool but looks like the 1st line of them will simply be an iOS-version of Android Wear.  More of an iPhone companion w/ a basic pulse monitor + pedometer.

The 1st wave of Apple Watch are due out sometime in April as the company will have around 6 million ready for the early adopters.  Does this bit of news change your decision of buying one?
