Earlier this morning, T-Mobile unveiled their UnCarrier 12 promo which is a focus at unlimited everything.  Introducing T-Mobile One as a 100% of their unlimited data plan that starts out at $70 for a single line and $40 per line for a family of four w/ autopay.

The T-Mobile One plan offers up:

  • Unlimited talk, text, & LTE data.  But the actual data cap is 26GB of unlimited data cap that can be throttled at specific times, though.
  • Unlimited mobile hotspot as only 2G speeds, though.  Actually, LTE speeds will cost you $15 per month for an additional 5GB of tethering data.  You won’t be doing much tethering at 2G speeds so if you plan on doing any, you will have to pay for the 5GB of LTE tethering.
  • Unlimited 480p video streaming but you will need to add on a $25 per month for 720p resolution or higher.  For the unlimited 480p video streaming, you can’t turn it off so you’ll have to pay the additional fee for better resolution.
  • All plans include T-Mo’s Simple Global, Mobile Without Borders, Carrier Freedom, Wi-Fi Unleashed, Stock Up, and T-Mobile Tuesdays.

New T-Mo subscribers can sign-up on September 6th as current subscribers can switch to T-Mo One or stay w/ the plan they already have.  You might consider this as a reaction to AT&T’s throttled unlimited data plan or this was already in the works.
