Apparently, 2016 is the year for recalls. Last night during the US presidential election, GoPro announced a recall of their new & first-ever drone: the Karma.
Looks like some of the Karma drones would lose power while in flight. There haven’t been any injuries or damages related to the issue – yet. Only a small amount have been affect thus far but they don’t want to take any chances and recall them all of the 2,500 drones they sold thus far.
GoPro is offering a full refund from where ever you bought yours. There won’t be any exchanges for a new model either. If you really loved your Karma, you’re gonna have to wait until they fixed the issue. This recall could stunt GoPro’s drone business as DJI is still going strong w/ their Mavic & Phantom drones.
