At Samsung Unpacked, we’re used to seeing the main flagship.  But this time around, we’re getting multiple devices as well as the budget version of the flagship.  Say hello, officially, to the Galaxy S10E – their direct competition to the iPhone XR.  Let’s talk about the official features & specs, shall we?

Samsung goes for the slightly-less premium w/ the S10E.

So the S10E will offer a 5.8inch Super AMOLED display w/ their Infinity O hole punch for a selfie cam, powered by the Snapdragon 855 CPU, a Power button on the side that doubles as a fingerprint reader, a headphone jack, USB-C, fast wireless charging, Bixby button, choice of 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM + 256GB of storage -both expandable via microSD, and a 3000 mAh battery.  

It will offer rear dual cameras w/ a f/1.5 12MP Dual Pixel Dual Aperture wide-angle lens w/ OIS and a f/2.2 16MP ultra wide-angle lens.  On the front Infinity O camera offers a f/1.9 10MP Dual Pixel lens w/ auto-focus + 4K video on the front.  It also brings over the Scene Optimizer, Flaw Detection, and the AR Emoji from Galaxy S devices from the past.  

It will arrive in Prism White, Prism Green, Prism Black, Flamingo Pink, and Canary Yellow color options.  Pricing starts at $750 for the 6GB RAM/256GB storage option.  Now which version of the Galaxy S10 will you pick up?
