Galaxy Ring owners rejoice! Samsung’s smart ring is about to be a bit more useful. The company just announced a new feature coming to their Galaxy Ring in the name of sleep apnea, which is a first for smart rings. The wearable just got FDA clearance to monitor for signs of sleep apnea.

The ring will use an algorithm to analyze blood oxygen levels and motions while sleeping and measure the amount of interruptions detected per hour. According to Samsung, you’ll only need two nights within a 10-day period of sleep monitoring to get a general idea—all without the need to visit a doctor.

While the Smart Ring isn’t the first device to gain sleep apnea detection, as Samsung’s Galaxy Watches already have this feature. Coincidentally, the Galaxy Ring is currently on sale, and you can use your FSA or HSA towards one as well.
