Last week, we were out in NYC for multiple events – one of them was the 10th annual Sweet Suite for 2019. We attended last year as this was our 3rd time attending Toy Insider’s big event. This year, we didn’t have a lot of time to check out everything. So we spent most of our time in the gaming section in the back w/ a quick run through.
We did check out the Lego area as well as a company called Tech Will Save Us. I really dug what they had to show off w/ their STEM products like Synth Kit, Coder Kit, Electro Dough Kit, & more.
Now onto the gaming side fo things, our 1st stop was the Nintendo side. They had tons of pretty good-looking MCU cosplayers in honor for Marvel’s Ultimate Alliance 3. They even had Mario Maker 2 on deck which I got a brief hands-on with. Both looked and played well on the Switch.
Next up, we got the return of Arcade1Up. This year they had new arcade cabinets to show off. We seen their Pac-Man, Golden Tee, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mortal Kombat, and the new limited edition Marvel Super Heroes.
Next year, I’m gonna try to bring my son as he’ll be a little older to appreciate it and actually use some of the toys there. Good times as always as we’ll try to up the coverage here.
