As of 11:18 today everyone is anxiously waiting to buy their new android device that has been brought to us through a live press conference across the web. There were alot of key players their from co-founder of google, HTC VP, Andy Rubin of Google, and T-Mobile Euro and US directors. The press conference was wonderful almost like being there live, except I had no G1 to play with after things wrapped up. I am sure our more veteran sites will have info that they will be willing to share as well as up close and personal pics. As for now we have wifi answered, yes the G1 has it. It is $179.99 with an October 22nd official release date. Two messaging bundles one for $25 unlimited data and some messaging and $35 for unlimted data and messaging (love T-Mobile). How about for fun and entertainment purpose AmazonMP3 is offering 6 million DRM-free music downloads for just .89 cents for singles and between $5.99 and $9.99 for full albums. Itunes watch out. Among all the Google embedded functionality there is a Google Chrome based browser(similiar set up just smaller version). There is a video in regards to the single sign on to all of your applications you have come to enjoy, offered through Google (GoogleTalk, Calender,Gmail etc.), as well as YouTube. There is an actual walkthrough that was shown live, if you missed it this is a must watch. Here is a video from the conference. Thank You Engadget!
