• Verizon Wireless now offers optional contracts now. All you have to do is fulfill your current contract agreements and from that point on you can choose from month-to-month, 1 year, or 2 year contracts for voice and/or data. With these new options, no more early termination fees while you can purchase new devices at any time but at full retail price.

  • Mozilla is bringing one of the PC users fav browser to mobile devices. Firefox Mobile is expected to be available for mobile devices around 2010 (hopefully earlier than that).

  • Nokia has a new device to sneaking out called the E75. It is a new handset with a slide out QWERTY. Think Helio Ocean, Nokia-style, Symbian-powered.

  • A new version of Google Maps Mobile has been released and it is equipped with street view (which has been showed off on most of the early Android devices although it doesn’t work for all location yet). Stay tuned for all Android fans, 9/23@10:30AM in NYC, a press conference is being held about the first Android device G1 as well as announcing the pre-sale for the device.
