Actually just finished some food shopping@Stop & Shop using their new fast method of shopping, the Scan It! feature. I took some pics with my 8900 to show everyone what it looks like & shed some light on it. Scan It! allows you to scan and bag in the aisle as you shop, with a running total on how much you’re spending and saving along with providing you with spotlighted items on sale. You also have the option to remove something after you scanned it in case you changed your mind about the item or use it as a price check. The handheld scanner is easy to use, made by Motorola, allowing you to skip having the cashier ring everything up. Once completed, you scan a barcode at the register, provide the cashier with any coupons you may have, and then pay. That’s it. Shopping made a little bit simpler by Stop and Shop.
