Just imagine playing your favorite first person shooter Wii-style, Sony has finally provided that option. Dubbed the Playstation Move, it allows an interactive way to play games on your PS3. Testers were able to enjoy SOCOM 4 on the PS Move with accuracy while still being entertained. The PS Move has the same USB connection to charge your remotes like your PS3 remotes unlike the batteries you would have to go through with the Wii. It is a completely wireless setup, no cords connecting from one controller to the other just a wrist strap. The Move requires the Sony Eyetoy as its sensor to capture your motions. The Move will be available this fall as a bundle w/ PS3, by itself, and in a starter kit (PS Eyetoy, controller, & game) with rumored pricing at under $100. There are a few games already lined up for like SOCOM 4 (as previously mentioned) will have Move support, along with straight Move titles like The Shoot, Gladiator, Sports Champions, and Move Party to name a few. The Playstation Move is due out by fall of this year, beating Xbox’s Project Natal to the punch. Take a look at the demo video below, tell us what you think.
