The good folks at Crackberry was informed while at CTIA yesterday that the official Twitter for BlackBerry will be available to all on March 31st. I gave the beta version a spin a while back it had basic setup and UberTwitter-like interface, it was slow and didn’t perform at its best. Some people it slowed that BBs down to crawl where they had to delete the app entirely. I am an avid TweetGenius user but I am very curious to see how the official version performs.
*Update* If you were looking forward to trying out the official Twitter for BlackBerry, you’ll have to wait. The app will continue to stay in its limited beta to further improve it. Below is a quote in regards to the app:
The March 31st launch date for the public beta of Twitter was prematurely shared at CTIA. The application will not leave its current limited beta in March. As of right now, the launch date hasn’t been decided and the team is working to make sure the next release is feature-rich and has a great user experience before opening the app to everyone.
