Yesterday BlackBerry dropped 2 minor software updates, one is the update for the Desktop Manager for Mac and the other another update your Verizon BlackBerry Tour. The newer version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac, thus far, offers improved connectivity & music synchronization on top of added language support for Japanese, Korean, and Simplified/Traditional Chinese. Although the Tour was recently updated officially to 5.0.0.591, there have been problems plaguing some users since the update. Verizon has released another version of the 5.0 OS BUT with a higher platform (this 5.0.0.591 has a 4.2.0.284, the previous OS had 4.2.0.272). Not sure what fixes come along with this but hopefully it helps those with problems. You would update your Tour just like last time: Options>Advanced Options>Wireless Upgrade> Check for Updates.
