Google TV is where the Web and TV meet.  That is their goal when creating the GTV interface for HDTVs.  GTV is an interface that’s built on both Google Chrome and Android (both open source) that allows you to search the web while watching live TV and offers plenty of features to bring to the table.  Google TV allows users to watch/browse TV, websites, apps, shows and movies. GTV also packs Google search box, DVR support, Amazon/Hulu.com support w/Amazon Video On Demand & Netflix content within, Flash/Flash games support, and access apps from a customized Android Market.  GTV has Wi-Fi/Ethernet built-in and uses Chrome as the browser as well as closed caption translation feature.  Google TV will link up with Sony who will be providing the TVs & Blu-Ray players, Logitech providing companion box/remotes/keyboards, Intel will be providing an Atom processor for it, Dish Network to offer the satellite service, and Best Buy will be selling the bundle THIS fall in stores.  Check out the video below.
