This Samsung model R900 has been marked to be the first 4G LTE CDMA device approved by the FCC in the US. The R900 will have radios using the dual-band 1700/1900 LTE/EV-DO bands set for MetroPCS. MetroPCS apparently claimed dibs on releasing the first LTE CDMA device here in the states. The R900 also comes with Bluetooth abilities and Wi-Fi b/g support. Other than that, there isn’t much else known about it. We shall see if this will be the first LTE device to be released to the public.
