With Android being the talk of the town as a growing mobile OS and all,  its native IM sucks and have sucked ever since its inception.  While there are plenty of third-party IM apps in the Android Market, there was only one most people were salivating for (I know I was when I had my G1).  According to BGR, the wait will soon be over as BeeJive IM will finally become available for Android devices as soon as today.   BeeJive for Android will be priced at $9.99 like it is for other platforms and will offer its usual high standard in IM services with the ability to send/receive photos, videos, audio notes, documents, etc. along with push notification for devices running Android 2.2 and higher.   BGR gave it a first look and mentioned that it will become available in the Android Market sometime this afternoon.   Check out screenshot below and hit the link for a few more.
