AndroidCentral got a hands-on look at the new HTC Merge, CDMA/GSM world phone headed for Verizon.   The Merge is running Android 2.2 w/Sense UI, 5MP camera w/ 720p HD video recording, 512MB RAM/2GB on-board memory, and a 800MHz processor (snappy like the G2’s processor).   The Merge shows its well-laid out QWERTY keyboard and very impressive benchmark speeds to compared other Android devices.  Looks like Verizon is set to get a monster Android device to add to their stable of green robots.  Check out the video below after the break.
